Nominate Your Choice for Alberta's Business Person of the Year
Alberta Venture magazine is now accepting nominations for Alberta's 2008 Business Person of the Year.
Now in its 11th year, the award is designed to identify and recognize individuals who embrace principled leadership, strategic thinking, balanced workplace values and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence.
Alberta’s Business Person of the Year is the cover story for Alberta Venture’s December issue. In addition to the cover story, Alberta Venture produces an award luncheon annually in mid-January in honour of Alberta's Business Person of the Year.

Criteria
The recipient will be a senior executive in Alberta exemplifying exceptional leadership both inside and outside his/her business. The judging panel will consider a variety of qualities including--but not limited--to innovation, drive, fairness, passion and wisdom. The panel will seek individuals who demonstrate a commitment to their companies, their employees and their community. The award particularly recognizes accomplishments from the previous nomination year.
