Alberta's Fast 50 Celebrated

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (January 8, 2008) - To match the excitement and growth of our province's economy, Alberta Venture magazine and KPMG have released their annual Fast 50 list honouring 50 of the Fastest Growing Companies in Alberta. The chartered accountants at KPMG tabulate revenue, assets and earning increases over a three year period to rank the top 25 fastest growing companies with revenue over $20 million and the top 25 fastest growing companies with revenue under $20 million. At the top of each list this year are Saxon Energy Services Inc and Pacesetter Directional and Performance Drilling Ltd, respectively. The rankings are featured in the January issue of Alberta Venture and the celebration culminates with an awards reception held at the Matrix Hotel in Edmonton on February 6th.
